Hi Adam,
Very interesting stuff on one of my favourite birds! I’ll be on the lookout for some of your colour-ringed Greenland birds thru my patch, you never know! I’m sure we have Greenland’s passing through the inland midlands during the Autumn, though without the biometrics on em it’s a tough call! Plumage wise etc some of them certainly seem to be good candidates.

Thanks for your comment. It would be great if you or someone managed to spot one of the Greenland wheatears we’ve ringed! Look out for big wheatears with a zebra or light green ring on the right leg!
